Nicole Richie Trial Delayed
Nicole Richie’s trial for DUI has been delayed at least one day. Her lawyers state the reason is that their key witness and drug expert is not available. The Judge has ordered both sides to court to give their statement about why they want the trial delayed until August 5th. Richie does not have to attend the hearing. Instead she is in Calgary, Alberta Canada attending the Warped Tour performance of her boyfriend Joel’s band. Her lawyer didn’t want to comment further.
This is Nicole’s second charge and if convicted is looking at a minimum of a four day jail term. She had been caught driving the wrong way on the road December 11th. There is no excuse anymore for these rich, spoiled little divas to go about carelessly as if the rest of us are not here. They not only endanger themselves but the rest of us too with their behaviour. It’s about time there is a Judge with the courage to make an example out of one of them.
