Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy! Say bye to those gay rumors… or not. Clay’s producer and best friend, Jaymes Foster, the sister of record mogul David Foster, was artificially inseminated with the singer’s sperm. Clay will reportedly have an active role in raising the child. A rep for the 50-year old Jaymes said “By the way she looks great, glowing and very happy. She and Clay have been good friends for a long time.” If only he impregnated her the traditional way then the gay rumors would have stopped – at least until the kid is born. But no, he didn’t even stick his pee pee in her.

Jacko, 49, was to sing live on the final of American Idol in front of a TV audience of 27 million. But 24 hours before the show in Los Angeles he bottled out, saying: “I can’t do it. Everyone will hate me.”

A source said: “This was his big chance but he got stage-fright.”

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have reportedly splashed out on a new house.

The newlyweds have purchased a home in Scarsdale, a quiet New York suburb close to where they got married last month. The colonial-style house has reportedly been under construction for six months and the 15,000 sq ft property is situated on two acres of land.

Quiet Scarsdale is very different from where the couple’s current home is - a penthouse apartment in New York’s trendy TriBeCa district. The first indicator that the couple were planning to marry came when they registered for a license in Scarsdale in April.

Shortly after applying for permission to wed, Beyonce and Jay-Z exchanged vows in a private ceremony at a chapel in Scarsdale Village. Reports then emerged that the former Destiny’s Child star may be pregnant.

Last year, Beyonce insisted she wouldn’t pressurise 38-year-old Jay-Z into having children, saying: “You can’t rush a man into anything whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children. When he’s ready he’ll let you know.”

You win some, you lose some – that’s what happened to a woman named Monique Wayne who filed a defamation suit against rapper DMX after he alleged that she raped him. A Maryland judge has nixed the $1.5 million, which awarded to Monique in January after DMX failed to appear in court, saying that DMX was not properly served with court papers in the case filed against him. How could you show up in court without knowing you had to be there anyway? Monique became pregnant after an August 2003 hook up with the rapper. She gave birth to boy in April 2004 and DNA tests showed that it was DMX’s son.

Courtney Love was advised to abort Kurt Cobain’s child.

The Hole singer fell pregnant in 1992 and was advised that her drug use could harm the unborn baby.

Former Warner Bros records boss – and ex-Nirvana manager – Danny Goldberg claims in a new book that: ‘the doctor tried to give clinical advice, suggesting to Courtney that it was not a great idea to have a baby while dealing with addiction. He suggested that it might not be safe for the baby, and Courtney, who was only six weeks pregnant, went into a confrontational mode, saying: “Is that a medical fact, or is that just your opinion? I want to see it in a medical book.” She was interested in medical facts, not a sermon. He sheepishly acknowledged that at this early stage of pregnancy a woman could discontinue heroin use with no physical or psychological damage to the foetus. Courtney looked triumphant as she towered over the doctor seated at his desk.’

Courtney stopped taking heroin and daughter Frances Bean was born in perfect health later that year. Nirvana front man Kurt – who married Courtney in February 1992 - committed suicide in April 1994

I may have found out the reason why Tony Romo still showed up as Jessica Simpson’s date for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s wedding even though they broke up prior to the event. People magazine cut a $1.4 million deal for the couple’s wedding pictures but there was a certain string attached – that Jess and Tony would be there to provide a good photo op. It sounds just about right because who would pay for Ashlee alone anyway? That’s why People put an inset picture of Jessica and Tony on the cover that Ashlee and Pete were on. Jess and Tony sell. Pete and Ashlee – not so much.

Usher is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and in the accompanying interview, the singer opens up about fatherhood, his new album ‘Here I Stand’ and what it says about how far he’s come. Those weren’t the highlights of the interview though. The more interesting reads of it was when he talked about being a ‘playa’, going for the so-called cougars and on his mother missing his wedding. On being a playa, he said “I was going out night to night, having a different woman in my bed every time I chose, and I began to wonder: Am I really being a playa or am I a whore?” I say whore!!!

Winona Ryder is reportedly dating Keanu Reeves.

The Girl Interrupted star and the Matrix actor are said to be getting close on the set of their new movie, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. And a source has reported that they are both smitten.

“They spend a lot of time in each other’s trailers and they are also always hugging on the set,” the source told an American magazine. “The chemistry is really electric.”

Despite reports that he was dating Parker Posey in March, Reeves hasn’t been in a serious relationship since the tragic death of his long-term girlfriend Jennifer Syme, in a 2001 car accident.

The 43-year-old first worked with Ryder on Bram Stoker’s Dracula in 1992.

Janet Jackson is about to add another job title to her resume – writer. She sings, she acts and now, she’s going to write books. Although I have a hunch that she’s just going to get an actual writer to put it together for her – for the right price of course. Janet’s soon to be released book is said to discuss her struggles with self-esteem, as well as her up and down battles with weight loss. It will even include diet tips and lifestyle advice from Janet’s nutritionist. DMX is definitely crazy on a different level. The rapper is now being accused of trying to get out of paying a hospital bill by using a fake name. In April, Mayo Clinic doctors in Arizona thought they were treating a man named Troy Jones for pneumonia. The thing is, they were really treating Earl ‘DMX’ Simmons who was allegedly using a fake name to skip on the bill. The rapper could be charged with theft of services and providing the hospital with false information including name and address for billing purposes. His lawyer called the investigation petty but so far, no charges have been made.

R Kelly’s trial is finally set to get moving along as jury selection has been completed and things are ready to go. 12 jurors have been selected, 8 of which are white and 4 are African American. Gender wise, there are 8 males and 4 females. Coincidentally enough, and it may be bad for the R&B singer, the final juror selected was a rape victim. The defense tried to get her dismissed but they ran out of their 7 peremptory strikes and unfortunately for them, the judge wouldn’t grant an 8th. The defense had also accused the prosecution of going after white jurors. I’m just hoping for a fair trial and that justice be served.

I am hoping that Nick Cannon has a very good accountant as the barely working actor is spending money as if it grows on trees. Mariah Carey’s new husband rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California on Tuesday night for a lavish party to celebrate his nuptials to the diva. He had the park close down in the evening just for the party which must have cost a lot of money. Friends and family who weren’t able to make it to the island wedding were invited to celebrate with the couple. The park was decorated with pink and purple balloon, Mariah’s signature colors. But compared to the party venues she’s used to, I’m pretty sure this is a downgrade.

Pete Doherty played his first gig in London on Tuesday night at the Kentish Town Forum after being incarcerated. His good friend Amy Winehouse was at his gig to lend some of her support. The crack heads are reunited and I’m sure they did something to make them feel oh so good. After the show, Pete and his crew headed to Wino’s place for some after hours fun. Do you even have to ask what the party favors were? The police are already watching their regular dealers with eagle eyes trying to catch the two in the act. If you ask me, Pete should have been kept in jail and Wino should be sent in one.

As they say, all good things come to an end. A new report is saying that last Tuesday night’s American Idol only reeled in 21.25 million viewers. It may not sound bad but it’s not Idol best. Apparently, the show has not been that low since its second season in 2003. If you see the number of viewers for Tuesday night performance shows from January 15 up to last week, the numbers go up and down from 33.24 million to the disappointing 21.25 million. It has just not been their season. What is the deal? They need to shake things up for next season.

Avril Lavigne is really milking the excuse that she’s been sick as the Canadian singer has angered what little fans she had left by canceling her show in Anaheim, California on Saturday with less than an hour before it was scheduled to start. Now that is cold! Her scheduled show in Los Angeles on Sunday was also cancelled. Who actually believes that she’s sick and just resting at home? For all we know, she could be throwing a party for not having to work for 2 days. She should just come out and admit it that it’s due to poor ticket sales that she’s cancelled several shows already.

Madonna’s bid to officially make David Banda a part of her family just got a little easier as the kid’s biological father has spoken out in favor of the Queen of Pop’s adoption. He told Reuters in a TV interview “I have no problem with the government’s recommendation to allow Madonna to get the child. This is what I wanted, that Madonna should keep the child.” Also, one of Malawi’s fiercest critics of Madonna’s bid, the Human Rights Consultative Committee, said on Monday that they were no longer interested in pursuing the case.
