Some former workers at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club could end up being a lot more than dirt on the club’s shoulder after a judge’s ruling earlier this week. A federal court judge gave the go signal to a class-action suit filed by some of Jay’s current and past employees at 40/40, saying that they made sufficient showing that club owners may have violated labor laws. Former employees claim that they weren’t given OT pay and were forced to shell out for their own break time, amongst other things. It’s being said that about 10 to 20 workers are on board the suit. A rep for the club says that 40/40 believes it’s innocent and will let the judge determine the outcome of the case.

Kanye West is adding another title to his resume. The entertainer extraordinaire has been spotted in Paris the last few days for the couture shows where he revealed to Women’s Wear Daily that he’s teaming up with Louis Vuitton to do a shoe line. Kanye’s going to be a shoe designer! He doesn’t mess around, does he? He only works with the best when it comes to his ventures. I can’t wait to see what the design house and the rapper come up with. I wonder if Kanye’s wild sense of style will make any impact on the designs of the shoes.

Long time Madonna rep Liz Rosenberg has released a statement which denies reports that the Queen of Pop’s marriage to director Guy Ritchie is heading for divorce. The statement reads “Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving). There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce.” The statement also addressed rumors of a Madonna-Alex Rodriquez affair saying “Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that.”
