Apparently, Columbia Pictures doesn’t know how to come up with anything new, so they’re resorting to making sequels.
The studio is now in discussions with producer Joe Roth to create a new version of XXX.
What? That movie? But it wasn’t even good!
The 2002 original was bad enough, why make another????
And to make things go from bad to worse, they want to bring back Vin Diesel! For real!
The second flick, titled XXX: State of the Union, starred Ice Cube and was directed by Lee Tamahori.
The third flick is said to be titled, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. It is in the early stages of conceptualization and it has no script yet.
According to reports, Diesel has agreed to return, as has director Rob Cohen. Looks like he’s desperate for a little money now.
We all know that he didn’t didn’t join the XXX sequel and he also turned down The Fast and the Furious sequel, and instead opted for a cameo role, and he skipped appearing in the third flick all together.
He can’t be choosy now that his career is non-existent
