Teri Hatcher vindicates herself
Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher has vindicated herself recently after Hydroderm LLC, a skincare company whose product she was endorsing, apologized and retracted their allegations that she was in fact endorsing rival product City Cosmetics. The product in question? CityLips; pout plumper which was a competitor of the Volumizing Lip Serum of Hydroderm.
Joshua McClearly, Hydroderm spokesperson, said the company “apologizes for the adverse publicity” thrown against Hatcher as a result from a $2.8 million lawsuit which the company filed against her. Hatcher claimed innocence and even vowed to fight the case which was eventually arbitrated.
Hatcher did not only salvage her reputation but also made herself richer after the company apologized and paid her for the bad publicity. The amount given by Hydroderm has however remained undisclosed.
