Brad Pitt has reportedly spent $1.5m on a painting at a European art fair.
Pitt appeared at what is billed as the world’s leading contemporary art fair at Basel. He bought
a painting entitled Etappe, by avante garde German artist Neo Rauch, said Maike Cruse, a spokeswoman for the fair.

Britain’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden reportedly won thousands on horse-racing bets at Royal Ascot
