Jessica Alba makes generous donation to United Way
Jessica Alba has followed up her apology to United Way with an undisclosed donation that the charitable group described as generous.
The actress was caught on camera plastering posters for a shark conservation campaign while in Oklahoma City. The photographs leaked onto the internet. One of her posters for the Los Angeles based White Mike campaign to save great white sharks was reportedly glued onto a United Way billboard.
The United Way of Central Oklahoma announced Alba’s donation, saying it was an appropriate amount. Spokeswoman Erin Brewer said Alba qualified for a program of donors that give $500 or more but that her lawyer asked that the amount be kept quiet. She called it “generous” and “appropriate”.
Alba was not charged by police in the matter. She was in Oklahoma to film The Killer Inside Me.
