Katherine Heigl’s loving baby photos
Katherine Heigl’s newly adopted baby has appeared in loving photographs of Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, that surfaced on the internet.
The child, Naleigh, is a special needs baby adopted in South Korea. Heigl, star of Knocked Up and Grey’s Anatomy, released the photo on her fundraising website.
She said on the Ellen DeGeneres show: “She was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign.”
Heigl, 30, also told media that she had wanted an adoption in her life after growing up with an adopted sister.
Naleigh, she explains on her site, is a shortening of Nancy Leigh. The names are taken from Heigl’s mother’s name, Nancy, and her sister’s second name, Margaret Leigh.
