Gordon Ramsay denies he sold Ferrari because of money troubles

Chef Gordon Ramsay has denied reports he sold his beloved Ferrari because of money troubles and admitted he sold it because he bought another one.
The 42-year-old was the subject of many reports this year that claimed his restaurant empire’s profits fell by 87 per cent.
He was accused of serving ‘ready meals’ – and author Sarah Symonds came out and claimed she had a seven-year affair with the star.
There was one report that said that he had to sell his Ferrari because of his money problems.
He said: “I sold my other one because I’d bought this [a black Ferrari] and Mum would have given me a caning if I owned two.
“Some schmuck in St Albans went to a pub, said he’d bought Ramsay’s Ferrari, and it was in the papers.”
Talking about his money situation, he added: “I’ve never had an issue with money, or been greedy, and this is the first time I’ve had a wobble.
“Easy options were put to me [by accountants KPMG]: ‘Cherry-pick successes, offload the baggage, insolvency has worked for lots of restauranteurs.’
“That made me sick – others would lose out. I like danger, and respond to negativity. It keeps me excited in a control-freak way.”
