Mini-Me’s glamorous ex takes out restraining order
Verne “Mini-Me” Troyer’s ex-girlfriend has reportedly taken out a temporary restraining order against him amid fears for her safety.
Former beauty queen Yvette Monet was granted the protective measure after alleging the actor is a threat to her life.
Court documents obtained by several US websites show the pretty blonde had previously dated the 82cm-tall Austin Powers star, but the pair broke up months ago.
The papers show that Monet claims Troyer, 40, bombards her with texts and e-mails despite her requests for him to stop. She says some of the messages are of a threatening nature, according to TMZ.com.
Monet alleges royer has told her his friend “Burt” has a gun and will do anything he asks. He also reportedly told her he has a “cop friend” called Jose who has weapons, too.
Monet requested Troyer be ordered to stay away from her, her workplace, her home and her vehicle.
Troyer, whose most recent role is as Percy in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, made headlines last year when a sex tape featuring him and former girlfriend Renae Shrider was leaked to the media.
