Peter Facinelli is the ‘pony express’ between fans and Robert Pattinson

New Moon star Peter Facinelli has said he has become the ‘pony express’ between fans and Robert Pattinson as he’s regularly asked to deliver letters.

Facinelli, 35, plays Carlisle Cullen, the father figure to Pattinson’s character Edward in the movie saga.

He said: “People always come up to me say: ‘Oh my god… can you give this letter to Rob?’ I’ve become the pony express to Rob Pattinson.”

He added: “I’ve yet to get one letter from [him]. Maybe he’s hoarding them.”
