Taylor Lautner embarrassed by childhood photo
New Moon heartthrob Taylor Lautner was embarrassed by a photo from his younger years.
The 17-year-old actor, who plays Jacob Black in the Twilight vampire films, posed for a photo next to chatshow host George Lopez after going trick or treating at his house.
The pair starred together in 2005 film The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D.
Lopez, 48, embarrassed Lautner with the photo during the pin-up actor’s appearance on his US chat show.
‘Before Twilight, you and I were together in Sharkboy and Lavagirl,’ he said.
‘You even came to my house trick or treating, but not as an adult – as a kid with a candy bag, going from house to house.’
Cringing, Lautner said: ‘Oh, my god. It’s so weird.’
Lautner also revealed how he gained 30lbs of muscle for his New Moon Role.
The teenager ate a diet of meat patties, sweet potatoes, raw almonds and protein shakes in order to bulk up – and had to have meals every two hours.
‘I had to stay away from the ice cream and all the fun stuff. I just ate a lot of meat and a lot of carbs,’ he said. ‘Getting to the gym was the easy part for me, because I was motivated and I knew what the character required, but the eating was challenging, it really was.’
