Katie Holmes says Suri wears ballroom pumps

Katie Holmes has offered an explanation for why her three-year-old wears high heels.
The heeled shoes Suri has been seen wearing are for ballroom dancing, Holmes said at the Kodak Theater where she attended an event for the Dizzy Feet Foundation.
“She, like every little girl – loves my high heels. They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them.”
Holmes looked tanned and relaxed after Thanksgiving, which she said was a wonderful, family occasion that included a workout beforehand.
The Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded by Holmes, Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman and Carrie Ann Inaba to help underprivileged young people who dream of becoming professional dancers. Nine students will receive scholarship assistance on the back of 90,000 donations this year, Holmes said.
She said: “I’ve been a fan of dancing my whole life. I met with Nigel and he asked me if I wanted to be a part this … in starting this.”
