Simon Cowell has plans for two new shows

Simon Cowell has revealed his plans for two new shows including a political debate programme.
The 50-year-old is a judge on the hit UK reality show as well as the US series American Idol.
Cowell revealed that there are two shows in the pipeline: “I’ve been working on two possible ideas for shows. One of them is a political one in the run-up to the general election.
“I’ve had this idea where we have a different panel of people discussing different issues that the public feel strongly about.
“For example, there could be a show about fox-hunting where Bryan Ferry’s son Otis could be on – as he’s pro-hunting – along with someone who is anti-hunting, for example, the writer Carla Lane.”
He added: “At the end of it, the public will vote for either side. We could do other shows on knife crime or Iraq.
“I respect public opinion and trust their views more than I would a politician’s.
“And there’s another show I’m really excited about, but I just can’t give anything away as it’s very early days.”
