Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie has revealed that he had a couple of ‘late nights’ in his London pub with pal Jude Law.

Ritchie, 41, directed the new flick and Law, 36, plays the role of Watson opposite Robert Downey Jr, 44, as Holmes.

Ritchie owns The Punchbowl pub in Mayfair, London, and previous celebrity punters have included Sting and his wife Trudie Styler, as well as Justin Timberlake.

Ritchie said: “Rudey Judey and I have had a couple of late nights in the pub, but lock-ins are illegal, you understand, so we never did any of those.

“Jude and I had a couple of seriously late-night excursions. He loved it.”
