Jennifer Garner stalker arrested
A man has been charged with stalking Hollywood couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck.
Steven Richard Burky, 37, was arrested on Monday morning at a nursery school attended by the couple’s eldest daughter Violet.
He has been charged with two counts of felony stalking and two counts of disobeying a court order.
Garner, 37, was granted a restraining order against Burky in November 2008, after telling a judge she feared for the safety of her family.
She claimed Burky, from Los Angeles, had been pursuing her since 2002 and was becoming more and more threatening.
According to court papers, he once told the actress that ‘God had sent him a vision of her being persecuted in some manner that may result in her death’.
The retraining order means Burky must keep at least 100 yards away from Garner and her family.
Burky was placed under psychiatric care last year and is currently in custody, with bail set at $150,000.
