Angelina Jolie’s trip to Haiti is not about adopting another child

Angelina Jolie has said her trip to Haiti is not about adopting another child.

The 34-year-old star has three adopted children and three biological children with partner Brad Pitt.

There were recent reports that the Salt star was planning to adopt a child from Haiti after recently visiting the disaster-stricken country.

She said: “I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of a family. Brad and I talk about that.

“But that’s not what we’re focusing on at this time, by any means. We’re not here for that.”

She added: “We’re here to see how we can help protect the children in country and scale up the needs here.”
