Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale’s trouble

The singer and the actress apparently have problems due to the fact that their sarcasm sometimes gets the better of them. Ashley Tisdale said the following about her and Miley Cyrus: “Miley is definitely sarcastic. She says the funniest things, but I’m like that too – you know, a little bit blunt. She completely says it how it is and some people can get offended, but she’s just being honest. I think it’s a great quality about her. She’s not afraid to say anything! Sometimes it gets us into trouble. People can take it the wrong way, but Miley’s young and she just says this stuff and it doesn’t really faze her. You can’t take it too seriously.” Doesn’t Ashley Tisdale mean Miley Cyrus is perhaps, I don’t know… cynical? None of her statements ever struck me as being sarcastic… or maybe she’s so subtle it’s hard to detect.

Ashley Tisdale Talks About Choosing Her Album Title

Ashley Tisdale Premieres It’s Alright It’s OK Video

Ashley Tisdale has just premiered the video for her single “It’s Alright, It’s OK!” The Scott Speer (The Veronicas, Jordin Sparks) directed video features 90210’s Adam Gregory as Ashley’s ex-boyfriend. “It’s Alright, It’s OK” will appear on the forthcoming Guilty Pleasure due out on June 16th. Ashley Tisdale Premieres New Single

Ashley Tisdale has just released her brand new single “It’s Alright, It’s OK!” The track premiered earlier this morning live with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM. Co-written by Swedish production team Twin, the song is a spunky break-up anthem about being single and in control of your life for the first time.

“I love break-up songs,” Tisdale says. “Everyone can relate to those moments when you need to vent your frustration about a previous relationship. ‘It’s Alright, It’s OK’ is about how you need to stand up for yourself and not let someone walk all over you; it’s a message I wanted to get across to other girls.”

An accompanying video to “It’s Alright, It’s OK” will premiere on MySpace’s on April 21st with feature support from such major online partners as AOL Music and Yahoo! Music, and MTV.com will premiere exclusive “making of the video” footage the week of the single’s release. Tisdale stars in the video with actor Adam Gregory (the CW’s 90210), who plays her ex-boyfriend. The clip was directed by Scott Speer, who has helmed previous videos for Tisdale as well as those from Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta.

A Knife at East High?

In these days when stars refuse to fess up to going under the knife, it’s refreshing to see someone who isn’t hiding the truth. Ashley Tisdale, “Sharpay” of High School Musical fame, confirms that she had a rhinoplasty (a.k.a. “nose job”) on Friday in L.A.

She states, “Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which cause trouble breathing. The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose.”

Ashley says she did it because she had to and that she doesn’t advocate elective cosmetic surgery. “I didn’t do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose.”

Ashley also says she’s being upfront about it because she wants her fans to know the truth and not just rumors.

She is expected to make a full recovery in plenty of time to begin filming High School Musical 3 next year.
