Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have reportedly splashed out on a new house.

The newlyweds have purchased a home in Scarsdale, a quiet New York suburb close to where they got married last month. The colonial-style house has reportedly been under construction for six months and the 15,000 sq ft property is situated on two acres of land.

Quiet Scarsdale is very different from where the couple’s current home is - a penthouse apartment in New York’s trendy TriBeCa district. The first indicator that the couple were planning to marry came when they registered for a license in Scarsdale in April.

Shortly after applying for permission to wed, Beyonce and Jay-Z exchanged vows in a private ceremony at a chapel in Scarsdale Village. Reports then emerged that the former Destiny’s Child star may be pregnant.

Last year, Beyonce insisted she wouldn’t pressurise 38-year-old Jay-Z into having children, saying: “You can’t rush a man into anything whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children. When he’s ready he’ll let you know.”

It´s been a while since I have had the pleasure of announcing a new celeb pregnancy, but the baby boom is still very active so it seems.

Beyonce Knowles is reportedly expecting her first child with new husband Jay-Z.

The ‘Destiny’s Child’ singer – who tied the knot with the hip-hop mogul last Friday – was spotted in New York sporting what appeared to be a baby bump yesterday.

A source close to the couple said: ‘I’ve heard from at least two people that Beyonce is pregnant.’

Following the couple’s ceremony, actress Vivica A. Fox revealed it wouldn’t be long before they started a family, adding: ‘I wish them many, many years of happiness and some babies. I think she will be really pretty pregnant, just like Jennifer Lopez and Halle Berry.’

Beyonce and Jay-Z have yet to confirm their nuptials, and the 26-year-old singer is doing everything she can to keep people guessing.

As she left Jay-Z’s New York apartment yesterday, she wore a black leather ensemble which included black fingerless gloves – covering up any possible wedding ring she may have been wearing.

R’n'B’s golden couple could be about to get hitched.

Beyonce and Jay-Z, who have dated for six years, reportedly took out a marriage license yesterday morning in New York. The document is valid for 60 days.

The pair are a famously private couple and are reluctant to discuss their relationship in public.

Rumours of a blossoming relationship started when Beyonce appeared in the rapper’s hit 03 Bonnie & Clyde and marriage speculation has been frequent ever since.

In December 2006 the couple’s reps were quick to quash rumours the couple were set to get married in the Caribbean.

When asked if the latest rumour was true, Beyonce’s rep said: “No comment”.

I’ve got sad news for all you Robin Thicke fans. The hunk of a crooner has reportedly cancelled his upcoming solo tour. A source close to the singer has come out saying that “He’s on vocal rest” whatever that means.

Robin recently served as the opening act for Beyonce on her world tour and was even set to start his solo trek this weekend. There’s no word on what’s really up which had him going on vocal rest but it’s being said that he won’t be requiring surgery. It’s just that Robin will be off the road for a while.
