Snitches make the gossip world go round so much faster. An insider reveals to the Daily Mail that Madonna and Guy Ritchie have renewed their wedding vows at a private Kabbalah ceremony in London. The source says “It was very intimate and both Guy and Madonna made vows to each other and pledged to try to make their marriage strong again. The ceremony lasted about an hour. They turned up at the kabbalah centre in their gym clothes and changed into white robes. Everyone at the centre hopes that they will get through their recent rough patch.” I guess they really are trying to make it work. This should stop those pesky divorce rumors – at least for a while.

Peaches Geldof has a reputation as a bit of a wild child; her latest story being her overdose causing the public to speculate on her similarities with her mother. So it really comes as no shock when I tell you that , out of the blue, she got married.

The 19-year-old DJ - the daughter of Bob Geldof - wed Max Drummey of US indie band Chester French in a shock Las Vegas ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel on August 5 after a whirlwind romance lasting only a month.

Critics have already suggested the nuptials are nothing more than a publicity stunt to promote Chester French’s new album, which is due out next month.

Peaches and Max released a statement yesterday saying: “The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week whilst holidaying in America. Peaches and Max are delighted to announce their very happy marriage. Max’s band, Chester French, played at the ITV iTunes festival in June, where Peaches was a co-presenter of the show. The acclaimed new Boston band were signed by Pharrell Williams to his label Star Track, a subsidiary of the giant Interscope Label.”

Just last month, Peaches publicly declared her love for her boyfriend of the time, Horrors frontman Faris Badwan, and even hinted the pair were considering getting married.

A friend of Faris’ said: “I spoke to him at the weekend and, as far as he was concerned they were still together. Now, he doesn’t know what’s going on.”

He’s not the only one. Confused anyone?

Although none of the couple’s friends and family attended the service, Peaches informed her father Bob - who married Peaches’ mother Paula Yates in Las Vegas in 1986 - she was getting married shortly before the ceremony.

Last night Bob would only say: “I am aware of the statement that has been released and agree with its sentiments.”

Reverend Stephen Fabretti, who conducted the nuptials, said: “They looked very happy together. I remember the bride looked very young and pale and quite angelic.” He added he thought it was “strange” that Max chose to wear sunglasses throughout the ceremony.

Ronnie Wood seduced his new Russian girlfriend by saying his marriage was already over. Ronnie, 61, reportedly told 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova his relationship with wife Jo has effectively been over for five years.

Ekaterina’s close friends insist she has a clear conscience about the relationship and has fallen in love with the alcoholic Rolling Stones guitarist.

One pal said: “Ronnie told her although he still lives with his wife, their marriage has been dead for more than five years. She has totally fallen for him and had no reason to disbelieve him. Ekaterina is adamant she has done nothing wrong. Ronnie had told her his marriage was over, and as far as she’s concerned she’s not to blame if it ends in divorce. She said they were like any other young couple in love, except he is a 61-year-old millionaire.”

The pair have been holed up in Ronnie’s Irish retreat in County Kildare where the guitarist is said to be drinking two bottles of vodka a day.

Yesterday, it was revealed Jo – Ronnie’s wife of 23 years – had told him their marriage was over in a furious voicemail message. Ronnie had originally promised to return to England and enter rehab yesterday.

However, he was spotted leaving exclusive golf resort the K Club in Ireland with his son Jesse, 30, from his first marriage, last night. His only comment was: “Things are difficult right now.”

Ronnie’s two children with Jo, Leah, 29, and Tyrone, 24, have reportedly vowed not to speak to their father until he gets sober.

A source close to the family said: “They are disgusted about what he is doing to Jo. He was supposed to fly back for rehab but stayed in Ireland. It was all booked and paid for. Until he changes his ways his kids aren’t interested.”

Ronnie met Ekaterina in a London escort club where she was working as a waitress. She then became a model for the keen painter and even met Jo, 53, who thought their relationship was innocent.

Rumors of a possible divorce and an affair with New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez continue to swirl around Madonna that she’s had enough and speaking for herself. Her publicist spoke on her behalf last week and now, it’s her turn. The Queen of Pop says “My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study. I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously. I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the internet.”

A lot of rumors have started up again that Madonna is splitting with husband Guy Ritchie. Well, the Queen of Pop’s PR mouthpiece has responded to the last batch of gossip saying that they’re “completely untrue” and the Guy and Madonna’s 8 year marriage is still intact. Madonna has not hired a divorce lawyer – yet. And she and hubby are as happy as clams – for now. I’m still wary of the fact that they haven’t really been seen out that much as compared to earlier in their marriage. When they are out, it always looks practiced and posed. I doubt Madonna will get a divorce when she has a tour about to kick off though.

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have reportedly splashed out on a new house.

The newlyweds have purchased a home in Scarsdale, a quiet New York suburb close to where they got married last month. The colonial-style house has reportedly been under construction for six months and the 15,000 sq ft property is situated on two acres of land.

Quiet Scarsdale is very different from where the couple’s current home is - a penthouse apartment in New York’s trendy TriBeCa district. The first indicator that the couple were planning to marry came when they registered for a license in Scarsdale in April.

Shortly after applying for permission to wed, Beyonce and Jay-Z exchanged vows in a private ceremony at a chapel in Scarsdale Village. Reports then emerged that the former Destiny’s Child star may be pregnant.

Last year, Beyonce insisted she wouldn’t pressurise 38-year-old Jay-Z into having children, saying: “You can’t rush a man into anything whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children. When he’s ready he’ll let you know.”

I am hoping that Nick Cannon has a very good accountant as the barely working actor is spending money as if it grows on trees. Mariah Carey’s new husband rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California on Tuesday night for a lavish party to celebrate his nuptials to the diva. He had the park close down in the evening just for the party which must have cost a lot of money. Friends and family who weren’t able to make it to the island wedding were invited to celebrate with the couple. The park was decorated with pink and purple balloon, Mariah’s signature colors. But compared to the party venues she’s used to, I’m pretty sure this is a downgrade.

Mariah Carey is reportedly engaged to Nick Cannon.

The ‘Touch My Body’ singer - who sparked rumours the US rapper has popped the question when she was recently spotted wearing a large diamond ring - has reportedly told friends she is planning to tie the knot.

A source close to the 38-year-old star said: “Mariah is happier than she has ever been, and she puts a lot of that down to being with Nick. When he asked her to marry him, she had no hesitation in saying yes.”

The couple met in March when Nick, 27, directed the video for Mariah’s new single ‘Bye Bye’. Mariah - who was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola - recently revealed any man would find it hard to compete with the amount of “adoration” she gets from her fans worldwide.

She said: “I’ve always had really low self-esteem, and I still do. What is weird about that is being on stage, and the love that you get, and the adoration that you feel from your real fans. It’s hard for a partner to compete - just imagine.”

Smitten Kate Moss enjoyed a romantic break in Amsterdam; then blurted out: “I’m getting married.” The grinning supermodel emerged from a bar to tell Dutch fans of her plans to wed The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince.

One onlooker in the cannabis mecca said: “The pair were in a bar looking very loved-up. Kate was so excited it looked like she had just accepted his proposal there and then. She was very happy. She came out giggling and seemed a little bit tipsy. Lots of fans were taking her picture on their mobile phones. She told them, ‘I’m getting married.’ One girl asked her when, and she said, ‘Soon’.”

After being denied a concert to cheer up jailed hubby, Amy Winehouse’s new idea to boost Blake’s spirits is of a more romantic nature. On Friday 4th Jan the couple plan to renew their wedding vows in a low-key service at the Pentonville prison.

When I think of vow reaffirmation I think of couples who have been married 20 years or longer… but each to their own.

A source said, “When Blake was first arrested, they both declared their undying love for each other and promised each other it would be good to renew their vows. And the time feels right to do that now. They are missing each other terribly. Amy wants them to repeat the same vows they took when they married in Miami last May.”

I guess it’s an improvement to the rumoured suicide pact anyway.

Donna D’Errice and Nikki Sixx were in court recently to settle financial matters in their divorce. While some people would fight tooth and nail for some money, Donna just wants it all over with regardless if she gets any money or not.

The judge has expressed concern for Donna but both parties waved their rights to financial support. The former couple reached a settlement agreement on the rest of their finances and that all matters related to their son Frankie would be kept confidential.

Donna says that she was happy that it was over and that she was in the process of writing an autobiography. Oooh! Dirt!

Almost everyone has an opinion of Britney Spears and her descent from pop princess to desparate damsel. Now Dr. Drew Pinsky has decided to throw his out - in case we care.

“(Britney) is a drug addict. It is an indisputable point,” he says. To validate his thoughts he says, “We know that she is a drug addict because she’s been admitted to a treatment center. You can’t be admitted unless you’ve met criteria for addiction.” What she’s addicted to, I suppose, will remain a mystery.

Does he blame her current issues on her early success? He wasn’t quite as quick to go that far. “Her mental health has almost nothing to do with her career.” He does, however, believe that her star quality makes it harder for her to find health.

He likens her problems to those of Anna Nicole Smith. “Fame hinders getting to (Britney) now. It is hard to get through the sycophants who are enabling her and be able to find people around Britney who are willing to potentially sacrifice either their salary or their access to her by bringing her into treatment. That’s the core problem. That is what is putting her in danger. That is what killed Anna Nicole Smith. She had people around her who didn’t step up and say you need to get treatment!” So, does that make K-Fed comparable to Howard Stern?

He didn’t leave her without hope of recovery, though. Dr. Drew said, “She can get better, she just doesn’t want to.” Hmm…Brit, if you’re reading this, maybe you should listen to the doc. After all, he’s helped all those people on Lovelines for years. Maybe he knows what he’s talking about.

Not everyone’s given up on Britney. Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is adamant that she’s going to be unlike other fallen starlets of today, but had this to say about Brit-Brit, “That girl was the epitome of beauty when I was younger. And we built her up and just ripped her down, put every aspect of her life under a microscope. Probably made 90 percent of the stuff up along the way. I can’t even imaging if I had it like she does. She’s someone that I’m rooting for, and I hope she can make that comeback.”

So, maybe if we all give her some privacy and some time to deal with her issues, she’ll come out stronger and better for it all in the end.

Jennifer Lopez stayed mum about her baby bump donning more flowing outfits during her performance on “Dancing With the Stars” Why are we all so engrossed about her having a baby or not there are millions of women all over the world who are pregnant at this time but all we care about is Halle Berry, Christina and Lopez. If she is taking the Christina Aguilera way and keeping mum about the whole thing then she is actually signaling that she is not going to speak about it. And after all its been a month or more since the speculation about her pregnancy and she has never commented about it so for me as for all of the others, she is pregnant and that’s all there is about it so why try and contemplate about something that’s most probably true. She has already learned her lesson on speaking to the media. Give them a little and the exploitation begins. Marc has had a positive influence on her as far as how to be low key.

She is so aimless. This is off subject, but I wonder if her mom regrets breaking up her marriage to the first husband (forgot his name). He did eventually sell her out by giving interviews. But in the beginning it seemed like he was really hurt by the annulment. He definitely seemed to care about her more than Kevin. I do not want to sound philosophical but that is finished, she has now been divorced for the second and that’s official too so all that can be done now is to look forward and think what needs to be done to get her chequered life back on track and swinging as before. The one thing she needs to promise herself is that she will not get married for the next 5 -8 years or if that means missing out on her new love and even never getting married again. Because right now if she ever gets hooked up again there is a real chance that the men who enter her life would enter to get themselves a good shot at her wealth.

Hollywood superstar Matt Damon is cutting back the number of movies he makes, after receiving an ultimatum from his wife Luciana Barroso. Damon’s hectic work schedule worried Barroso, who has a 16-month-old daughter with the Ocean’s Thirteen actor, so much she insisted he spend more time with his family. I think she is right in telling that he has a family to take care off and a daughter who would wish to see him more often. It also shows that she loves him very much and needs his presence in her life to feel she has a family. Matt doesn’t need to work his butt off all year to earn a decent amount to support his family. Even if works on just 1 or 3 projects a year and takes time off to be with and help his family, I am sure he could earn enough to support his family well. Your kids need not wear designer baby clothes everyday to feel happy, she needs to know who her father is and needs a father to tell her stories at nights.

‘Good Charlotte’ frontman Joel Madden isn’t keeping his future plans of marrying Nicole Richie a secret. This is good news for Nicole and Joel that they plan to marry and commit their future to each other. “Obviously, marriage is in our future,” Madden told “I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby.” Hopefully things are looking up for Nicole on a personal front and she can leave behind her problematic days and look to a nice family future with Joel. She should be happy that she has been able to leave her owes behind and get along with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, the Good Charlotte frontman is not shy about his enthusiasm for impending fatherhood. “I’m excited. We are all really excited about it,” he told. “Its the best thing that has ever happened to us. It’s awesome.”
