Paris Hilton feels much safer in her new home. The 27-year-old hotel heiress, who recently moved to an exclusive gated community in Beverly Hills, loves the new property because it gives her more privacy.

She wrote on her official blog: “As most of you know, I moved away from my old - and very accessible - house because I was sick and tired of constant invasion of my private life. I love my fans but I could not leave for a meeting or walk my dog without a camera pushing inside my front door on to personal property. I feel so much happier and safer in my new home.”

Last summer, an ‘enormous’ number of people living in Paris’ former West Hollywood neighbourhood reportedly complained about the helicopters, cameramen and paparazzo constantly camped outside her house.

Paris, who is currently dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, also revealed she has extensively refurbished her new house and is delighted with the results.

She added: “I’ve been renovating it for the past year and totally made it my style. I’ve seen pictures online that are supposedly the inside of my new home, but they’re not. The house looks so different and it underwent such a big transformation into my dream home. I couldn’t be happier!”

Paris Hilton and Joel Madden’s dogs are dating.

According to Paris’ boyfriend Benji Madden who is Joel’s brother and Good Charlotte bandmate her Chihuahua ‘Tinkerbell’ has been sniffing around Joel’s pet Pitbull Terrier, ‘Eazy’.

In a posting on the Good Charlotte website following a family party at Paris’ house, Benji wrote: “There were lots of babies around and everyone brought their dogs and they were all dressed up. We just found out that Eazy, Joel’s dog, and Tinkerbell are now seeing each other. She seems happy, we wish them the best.”

Benji and Paris have been dating for three months and are reportedly planning to marry. Joel is engaged to Paris’ close friend Nicole Richie and the couple have a five-month-old daughter Harlow.

Animal-lover Paris once claimed to have 600 pets in her various homes including Chihuahuas, a Rottweiler dog, a bobcat, a ferret and a kinkajou, though Tinkerbell is arguably her most famous pet after making regular public appearances with the socialite.

Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton may have gone over a rough patch but there’s no denying that the two think alike. Nicole is dating Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden, and now, sources say that Paris is dating Joel’s brother, also a Good Charlotte member, Benji Madden. Sources are also saying that it’s serious and that they’re very into each other. They’re so serious that the rocker even accompanied the heiress on a work trip to St. Louis this past weekend where she went to promote her new fragrance. Benji also accompanied his lady love to nightclub Home where she was scheduled to DJ on Saturday night.
