Zsa Zsa Gabor is reportedly in a critical condition after undergoing hip replacement surgery.

The 93-year-old actress broke her hip recently after falling out of bed while trying to answer the phone at her Bel-Air home, TMZ says, having spoken to the star’s publicist.

According to the website, her rep revealed that Gabor’s eyes are open but she isn’t talking. Doctors at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center fear that she may have suffered a stroke.

Her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt confirmed to Fox News she wasn’t responding to people around her.

“The doctors want to observe her over the weekend to make sure her condition improves, but right now it is not looking good,” von Anhalt said.

Don Basinger said she has no interest in the 30 Rock star’s life.

“She couldn’t care less what Alec Baldwin does or doesn’t do,” the 86-year-old told a US newspaper.

Baldwin is said to have been overheard blaming his ex-wife for being behind an incident that saw their 14-year-old daughter Ireland call emergency services to say he was trying to kill himself.

He reportedly got suspicious that it happened just weeks before he was due to co-host the Academy Awards on March 7.

But Don Basinger told the New York Post: “Anybody with any common sense at all knows that Kim wouldn’t do that to embarrass him before the Oscars.”

Baldwin allegedly told his daughter on the phone on Thursday: “I’m going to take some pills. I’m going to end this.”

When she tried to call him back and he didn’t answer, she called police. Baldwin, 51, was taken to a New York hospital shortly after midnight, examined, and allowed to return home. His representative blamed the incident on a “misunderstanding”.

The 51-year-old actor was taken to a hospital in New York after a 911 call was made from his home in Manhattan by a caller, thought to be his teenage daughter Ireland, according to WNBC News.

According to Today in New York, Baldwin had become ‘unresponsive’ and he agreed to go to hospital when police and medics turned up at his apartment.

It is claimed he stayed at Lenox Hill Hospital for an hour before he was finally released.

PEOPLE claim a rep for Baldwin and Lenox Hill Hospital could not be reached for a comment on the matter.

Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.

Fawcett had recently returned to St John’s Hospital in Los Angeles for treatment of complications due to anal cancer, first diagnosed three years ago.

Her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal was at her side throughout her final days and was seen leaving the hospital on Thursday morning in tears.

Asked if he was OK, Ryan replied: “No , I’m not OK,” before walking to his car.

Farrah passed away at 9.28am on Thursday morning – just an hour after her troubled son Redmond was due in court to face a judge over his drug case.

Redmond was a no-show at court and reporters were told his case had been put back to 1.30pm.

Farrah had returned to the hospital and treatment in Los Angeles after undergoing controversial stem-cell treatment in Germany.

Like so much of Fawcett’s life – including her bumpy relationship with O’Neal – her heroic struggle to beat the disease was closely followed by her legion of fans.

“I’ve watched her this past year fight with such courage and so valiantly, but with such humour,” Fawcett’s Charlie’s Angels co-star Kate said in November 2007.

O’Neal, in particular, remained a steadfast supporter of Fawcett, who, despite her frailty, spent the last months of her life filming a TV documentary chronicling her illness.
